Further steps to return citizens of the Russian Federation on the cruise ship Diamond Princess should be determined after the quarantine is completed due to coronavirus. This was announced on February 17 by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Igor Morgcase. According to him, Russian citizens are still under quarantine and under the supervision of Japanese doctors. We need to wait for the quarantine events to be completed in order to decide on further steps, TASS quotes him. According to the news agency, the cruise ship Diamond Princess was closed for quarantine in the Japanese port of Yokohama. There are more than 3.6 thousand people on board, including 24 Russian citizens. As of February 15, 285 people were infected with coronavirus on the liner, there are no citizens of the Russian Federation among them.
