Bolivia announced PE regime in connection with coronavirus pandemic

A state of emergency has been declared in connection with the coronavirus pandemic by the Bolivian authorities. On March 11, the head of the presidential administration, Jerko Núñez, told reporters. Núñez explained that the PE regime will allow the authorities to accelerate the allocation of funds to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country. The Head of the Presidential Administration said that at the moment the Bolivian authorities do not intend to close the borders, but citizens coming from countries where an outbreak of coronavirus has been recorded should voluntarily self-isolate for 14 days. Earlier, the news agency reported two cases of coronavirus found in Bolivia. Two elderly women who had recently visited Italy fell ill.
