In Lithuania under surveillance due to the risk of coronavirus already more than 5 thousand people


The latest samples for a new type of coronavirus in Lithuania have not confirmed new cases of infection, according to the correspondent news agency today, March 10. According to the National Center for Public Health, 15 more samples were taken on March 9, but all showed a negative result. Lithuania still has only one infected coronavirus, with a total of 275 samples taken in all time, and there are 5.5 inhabitants under surveillance and home quarantine, most of whom have visited Italy in recent weeks. According to Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulus Skvernalis, no additional measures are expected to be taken to combat the spread of the infection. He spoke about this at the opening of the spring session of the Lithuanian Parliament.
