Turkish authorities completed evacuation of their citizens from the EU

Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said that the authorities have completed the evacuation of their citizens from the European Union, he said on his Twitter page on March 18. According to him, more than 2,000 800 people were taken to Turkey from ten European Union countries, from which entry was prohibited due to the threat of coronavirus spread. All measures for the safety of their health were taken in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, Oktay said. Last week, the Turkish authorities closed the borders to guests from Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands due to the threat of infection.
