Trade turnover between Russia and Japan decreased by 10%
Since the beginning of 2020, including against the background of the coronavirus pandemic and the restrictive measures taken in this regard, trade between Russia and Japan has decreased. Thus, according to the Ministry of Finance of Japan, this indicator in the first quarter of this year decreased by about 10% compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to about 527.6 billion yen (slightly less than $4.9 billion at the current exchange rate). According to the news agency, according to the results of 2018 the trade turnover between Russia and Japan increased by 17%.
