China to allocate $2 billion to COVID-19-affected countries
The authorities of the People's Republic of China intend to allocate 2 billion in the next two years to assist countries affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced on May 18, Chinese President Xi Jinping said. The President of the PRC said that his country, in order to stimulate international cooperation against COVID-19, intends to provide $2 billion in the next two years to assist in the fight against coronavirus and for socio-economic development in the affected countries. These are primarily developing countries. As previously reported by the news agency, the American agency Bloomberg claims that there was a new outbreak of COVID-19 in the north-stream of China. Restrictive measures imposed by the PRC authorities affected more than 100 million people.
