The State Duma ratified the agreement on the return of the sheet of the Miroslav Gospel


The State Duma ratified an intergovernmental agreement with Serbia on the transfer of the St. Petersburg List of Miroslavov's Gospel to the Republic of Serbia and paintings by Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich of the Russian Federation, the news agency reports on June 23. The Russian Federation transfers to Serbia in the city of Belgrade a list of the Miroslavov Gospel (the 166th sheet was transferred to the Russian National Library (St. Petersburg) in 1883 as part of the collection of Bishop Porfiriy (Uspensky), and the Republic of Serbia transfers to the Russian Federation in Moscow seven paintings by N.K. Erich, stored in the National Museum of Serbia (Belgrade): (Good visitors), Berendei. Village. (Sloboda Berendeev), Zvona. (Call of the bell), Burgustan in the Caucasus (Burgustan. Caucasus), St. Sergius (Rev. Sergius Radonezhsky), Sketch of a female costume for the Snow Maiden, Sketch of a female costume for the opera Snow Maiden). The agreement was signed in Belgrade on October 19, 2019.
