In the name of well being as Belarus left the Soviet Union

July 27, 1990 Belarus after seven other republics of the USSR adopted the Declaration on state sovereignty. A great influence on the local Supreme Council has had a policy of independence, taken just before the new Russian leadership. At the same time to secede from the USSR in 1990, the BSSR, according to the participants of the events, was not going. According to article 3 of the Declaration, sovereignty was claimed in the name of free development and well-being, dignified life for every citizen of the Republic.
