ByteDance rejected Microsoft's offer to purchase TikTok

The Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok, refused Microsoft to buy a social network - the application of the IT giant was officially rejected. Thus, Oracle Corporation remains the only finalist, which may become the potential owner of the American TikTok segment. According to media reports, ByteDance will declare Oracle its reliable technology partner and transfer the assets of the service to it, but the transaction will not look like a direct sale.
